My practice consists of digitally joined photographic imagery from a variety of sources, both original and found. They may include machinery and metal parts, male physiques, details of motorcycles and cars, sexual activity among men, flowers and plants, architectural details, fetish gear, or athletic endurance events. I join many different layers to create images that defy a single reading, and push toward abstraction. Through both content and form, these works are intended to explore tension, beauty, male bonding, queer desire, physical struggle, power dynamics, and sensual release. The works are presented as archival inkjet photo prints.
